I've had the worlds most bitching tire machine sitting in my garage for the last 8 or so months, and I've finally gotten around to firing it up and testing it out. Works great, and I can offer mounting and balancing to LPACers, $50 for a set of 4 mounted and balanced. I'm not going to get involved with any of the TPMS bullshit so don't bother me if you've got a Corvette or the like, Tire Town has the same machine as I do, go pay them the extra $40 to stress about it.

Too bad bill, I'd be totally happy to hook you up on the Diarrheas. They're the kind of tire this machine really shines on.

It's a spin balancer. I've never had the need for a Road Force balance, and it's hard to justify spending that kind of money on something that would give me no tangible benefit. Hell, it's hard just coming up with that kind of money.

I can tell the difference, but I have a very heavy load on my front tires. (close to load capacity on high perf. tires that are really designed for cars)

For other vehichles in my household or a different car I would not spring for it.

Just mounted some 255/45/18s for my manager, once I figured out the tricks it was amazingly slick even with a very stiff fairly short sidewall. He's got the GM TPMS bullcrap on his car, and it's not as risky as I'd initally thought, so I'm willing to do cars with the valve stem mounted tire pressure setup now.

yea TPMS is easy once you get use to it.... you just start the dismount/mount right in front of the TPMS and the tire should pop on/off before you reach the TPMS again.

Are you still able to offer this service? If so I would like to take you up on mounting a set.

Yeah, no problem. I can bang 'em out tomorrow afternoon/evening for you if you're ready to go.
