So, my roommate bought an LS1 RX-7 with the idea being, that since it didn't have a rotary, the engine would not need a rebuild every 60k miles. As it turns out, he found out that his LS1 is, in fact, in need of a rebuild. To make it even more hilarious, the motor has roughly 60k miles on it.

The LS1...

...almost as overrated as a 2JZ swap and parts overnighted from Japan. :P

Tell him to step up his game. 2.4L 4g64 time. Feed it with 50psi.
