If you guys saw my post about my front two wheels a few weeks ago I have my rear's on now as well. Fronts are 18x9.5 using 255 vredestein tires. Rears are 18x10.5 using 295 BFG drag radials. Here are some crappy pics. I'll get better ones soon.

Alot of people are saying that but there really is not any stretch. Thats just how that tire looks.
Here are the same tires on other wheels:

As for reppin' for VDub, I guess I kind of am since this tire is used mostly on european cars

The VDub comment was about the tire stretch, not type.

What size tire is that, and how wide is the wheel. Still looks too small on the closeup.

They are 255 40 18 on a 9.5 inch rim. 9.5 inches is 241.3mm and 255 obviously refers to mm. So the tire is actually wider than the wheel by 13.7mm. No stretch. Also those meaty rear DR's might be throwing off your judgement considering when I posted the thread with just the fronts on I never heard anything about stretching. Now that I have a huge contrast it is now being brought up.

Nope, not throwing me off, I run 255s on 8 in rims up front, and 325s on 8's in the back.

At least they'll be stiff. I thought vettes fit 285s in the front?

Yea the Z06 has 285's up front. That was my stock size in the rear tho lol. The base C6 actually only has a 245 in the front.

The c4 came with 255s in the front, it seems you went to a much wider wheel, and stuck with the same width tire, therefor it is stretched, and you should know why a lot of people are "saying that." Just giving you crap.
