I know this is early and all but I'm gonna try to make this and I know it should be a large course because the parking lot is atleast 2-3x as large as the CPI location. If anyone else wants to come, let me know and you can most likely stay at my house for the weekend. This event is hosted by the Susquehanna Region SCCA so if anyone has experience with them let me know. It is the PA states so I'm not sure if you have to be invited or not, if anyone knows please fill me in.

If it's States, then you are probably going to need invited after competing at the Regional level. That means attending the local SCCA meets and scoring some points in the summer series.

If it is by invitation only then I guess I'll just try to do the cone killer challenge the weekend before.

States isn't invitation-only. It's not even really States, it's just an event that Susquehanna runs that they happen to call States.

If you've never been to a Mid-State event, the courses are much larger and faster than CPI, so check the schedule on scca-cpr.com and try to make it out. Most of the airport events are during the summer, but there's a two-day event in the fall.

Spitfire- Thanks for clearing that up. I might goto a Mid-State airport autocross but I'll be home this summer so it's a lot closer to me then MSA.

So they just call it States??? That's a bit odd.

As far as anything sanctioned at a level higher than their own region, it's not. It's just something they started to try to get as many people to come and get the competition up.

They still don't even allow all SCCA Solo classes to run there, so they really shouldn't call it states, but because they were the first to dub their event the "State Championships", no one else has wanted to challenge them on it.
